Winners of the Best Vocalist Award at the 2017 Bucharest International Jazz Competition and finalists of the renowned Peter Whittingham Award, the German jazz vocalist Miriam Ast and Spanish pianist Victor Gutierrez are presenting their debut album‚ 'Secret Songs’ on the German label Mons Records, available now. It features the legendary British saxophonist Stan Sulzmann as a special guest on three tracks. The album is a special collection of arrangements of jazz standards and original compositions crafted to bring out hidden meanings in the songs. Fresh interactions, energetic improvisations and heartfelt story-telling are some of the key-aspects of the duo.
